Pastor James MacDonald Parable of the Persistent Preacher

A few weeks ago on Pastor James MacDonald’s Walk in the Word program, he discussed Luke 18. You know, the “Parable of the Persistent Preacher”. For those of you who may not know it. Here is Jesus’ story:

“And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In Cook County there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a preacher in Cook County who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’

For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this preacher keeps bothering me, I will give him justice, so that he will not beat me down by his continual coming.’” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?””

How fitting of a sermon for Pastor James MacDonald. He isn’t getting his own way, so he files an unbiblical lawsuit in order to get his own way. As the prophet Nathan told King David “YOU ARE THAT MAN!” Pastor James is so spiritually blind he doesn’t just not see his own sin, he doesn’t follow his own teachings. Harvest Bible Chapel doesn’t follow James MacDonald’s teachings. James and Harvest have become a complete fraud.
